Sometimes we need to stop the USB service to our PC due to some security or other issues. We can disable USB drive of our PC without use any software. You just need to follow the below steps:
1. Please write REGEDIT to Run command and press Enter.
2. Perform double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder
3. Again double click on System folder
4. Make a double click on CurrentControlSet folder
5. Then find the Services folder and perform a double click on this folder.
6. Now make a double click on USBSTOR folder.
The Path is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> System -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> USBSTOR
Some options will be visible to the right site window.You need to perform a right click to Start. You will view menu with some options. You need to click on Modify...
The edit window will be open to modify the data. You need to edit the value data to 4 from 3 and click on the OK button to save the change.
